Ok, here is one: I went to a hill near my house, it was actually an old tobbagon run and the county turned it into a sledding instead (STROGER sucks!!!) because of lack of funds >anywho, they left all the stairs, they are concret and there are runners going up and down, and i run (really just walked) up and down 4 times, and Oli and John did 2 1/2 each.
ReplyDeleteThat was Monday, still, today, I have not been able to walk normal because of my calves. THEY ARE IN ABSOLUTE PAIN! I am going back tomorrow.
Oli and I will probably just do 2.
Next time you guys come over, we will do it as a group. Its actually really nice, and then most of the fit people run in the forest preserve, but I am not there yet. Plus, if I go with just Oli then I will not be able to, I cannot leave her alone.
ReplyDeleteI will say though, it was a great time, with no cost involved. Only gas$ to get there. But I have walking 3 miles a day. Abi, I will start doing the lemon cleansing, because my face is starting to break out, and I think its because I am starting to get "dirty" again.

ReplyDeleteI can see Olie right now trying to walk becuase she is to sore to even take a step. Mami, mami, i cant walk. and then she busts out laughing. hehe. It sounds pretty cool though. Its a real good workout. Try srinting up all the way up and then walking down. its very good high intensity interval training. you lose fat faster like that.
No, you cannot speed walk, its really far up. These 2 guys were not even running, they were doing it very high, they are steps, like maybe 2 feet, and then the next step is 1 foot, then the next is more narrow. These guys, would go up and down quickly, or at least faster than I, and then they would go to the 4 foot wall, and jump onto it, like kangaroos. Oli said, mommy, do that, I said, nope, these guys are obviously professionals - and they just smiled.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, today, my workout got a little harder, because Johnny wasnt there with me, so I did climb the hill 5 times, but I had to carry Oli, 3 times of the 5 UP, With her on my back and sometimes on my waist - I thought I was going to faint. I had to put here down a couple of times, because I felt very woozy!
She didnt really want to go. She said its hard work, but I asked her if her legs hurt and she said no. So, maybe I have not been working out as hard as I can. OBVIOUSLY! I am thinking of doing it tomorrow, but I will see.
ReplyDeleteThe men there who are fit, did it maybe 20 times. But NOBODY does it running, except this one runner.But he went up and went into the forest preserve running. Cross training. The women, of course dit it slower and less times. I cant really count with Oli with me. There was this one Polish chick who was yapping on her cell phone in Polish and I mean, yapping, and she was going up and down like nothing. She wasnt winded at all. She probably does it alot, because she was really thin, but she had beautiful legs.

Hey guys!!! So according to my calculations, I have 69 days until the big day and have only lost 4-5 pounds. However, this is probably just stress because I have not stepped foot in the gym since...well, a long time ago. I really need to tone and loose more weight :( SO...I have officially decided to take this seriously. I AM GOING TO THE GYM TODAY!!!!
